08:30 – Coffee with a view of the mountains and the sea
Our favourite rule: a leisurely morning. Take a freshly brewed coffee up to the rooftop sun terrace before the sun gets too hot. The peace and quiet, the gentle Mediterranean breeze and the view of the surrounding countryside make for the best start to the day.
14:00 – Siesta and a dip in the pool
When the sun is at its highest in Los Alcázares, we head for the shade by the pool. Our favourite way to spend the day? A leisurely lunch in the open air and a quick dip in the pool between chapters of a book.
18:30 – Sunset over the Mar Menor and local cuisine
A stroll towards the beach is perfect in the late afternoon. We always pop into little local bars for some fresh seafood and a glass of sangria – without the tourist crowds, at a truly Spanish pace.
21:30 – Evening chats by the floodlit swimming pool
Once the children are asleep and the temperature drops, the terrace turns into a private open-air lounge. With the pool softly lit, the evenings stretch on for hours – accompanied by local wine and good conversation.
